BIOGRAPHY

Marshall Thomas was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. He attended Garces Memorial
High School before spending two years at Bakersfield College. He then transferred to Oklahoma
State University where he earned his degree in Business Administration.

Marshall went on to earn his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law,
graduating in 2021. While at Oregon, he served as an editor of the Oregon Law Review and
worked for several law firms in the Bakersfield area.

Following law school, Marshall returned to Bakersfield and joined a highly respected litigation
law firm, where he developed a broad practice in civil and business litigation. His practice
involved general contract, agriculture, construction, and real property disputes.

At Guerrero Mears LLP, Marshall’s practice now encompasses general business and corporate
matters, business and real estate transactions, and estate planning.
